Born and raised on two wheels, Timmy started his two wheel journey early at the age of three riding and racing motocross for the next 15 years. His mother convinced him to go on his first trail run of seven miles while in high school and began running avidly. After graduating he quit motocross and focused on running for fun. Timmy met his wife in 2010 and settled down back home in Placerville, California. After years of running and competing in marathons and ultras, he found himself lost in the sport. In 2014 after watching the Tour de France, he decided to purchase a road bike. After a month he found a coach and started a training plan but with no desire to race. After a few months and losing over 25 pounds through training and chasing Strava segments, he joined a local race team. After his first race in the spring of 2015, he was hooked. He’s since moved up from Cat 5 to Cat 3 in a year, then this year he joined Williams cycling to compete as a Cat 1. He’s already made eight podiums and two wins. Timmy still maintains a full-time job while still caring for his family and training at least 15 hours a week. Bike riding is more than a sport, it's his lifestyle.
